Alameda County Flood Control District, Castro Valley Creek Daylighting Campaign
In a publicity campaign to bring awareness of environmental restoration to the public, Convey obtained television, radio, and print coverage for the "daylighting" of Castro Valley Creek, a project that restored a section of the creek once covered over by pavement to its natural setting.
The District was able to use TV and radio clips in presentations made to public groups as well as to feature them on their website. Convey has also prepared applications for awards that have won further recognition for the District's committed efforts.
Print articles appeared in American City & County, APWA Monthly News, The Military Engineer, and Water21.
PBS&J National Article Placement Program
Since 2001, Convey has performed ongoing external communications and media relations for this nationwide consulting/engineering firm, with the objective of building optimal recognition of the firm's expertise and project accomplishments.

PBS&J California Marketing Communications Program
Convey is continuing a robust marketing communications program to showcase PBS&J's expertise in the California and Nevada regions. The program emphasis is on building PBS&J's brand through advertising and media relations, including placement of executive experts on local and national broadcast media.
Florida's Turnpike Enterprise Champion Plan
Florida's Turnpike Engerprise is PBS&J's largest client. PBS&J entrusted Convey with assisting the Turnpike Enterprise in communicating their programs and accomplishments to national trade and professional publications. Convey has written numerous articles to reflect the Turnpike Enterprise as forerunners in the use of intelligent transportation systems, including tolling technology, to improve traffic congestion throughout the state.
ADSC: The International Association of Foundation Drilling
Convey developed a major national media program to publicize ADSC's Faculty Workshop, which resulted in placement of nine feature articles in strategic national magazines with a combined circulation of over 150,000. Convey performed a similar educational program to promote micropile technology, a relatively new deep foundation system. Convey conducted extensive media relations in support of California Senate Bill 1813 (regarding Caltrans' contracting and subcontracting practices) resulting in several articles placed in several strategic trade publications and in the California mainstream press.
